AED/CPR training for interested church members will take place Tuesday, September 16, 2008 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The class will be taught by Marsha Reed through the American Heart Association. The class takes approximately 3 1/2 hours. The cost will be $2. Please call Mike Wood at 443-5696 ext. 208 to reserve your spot!

Stockholders’ Banquet We will have a Stockholders’ Banquet Meeting today at 3:00p.m. If you went on any of the trips this summer you need to be there or talk to me if you can’t. All other youth need to be at the meeting too. The Stockholders’ Banquet is set for September 7th at 5:00p.m. Please RSVP if you have not already. Youth and other helpers will need to be at the church at 3:00p.m. dressed in a nice white shirt and nice black or dark colored pants. Youth Off-Site We are meeting at the church at 4:00p.m. to have youth at Lake Beulow. You can also meet us at the park. We are going to play ultimate Frisbee, football, silly games, and eat food and have fun. Dress for sweat, games, and fun.

All you music and art aficionados, don’t forget the following dates: Wednesday, September 3, 5:30-6:50 PM, Choir Room-J.A.M. (Jesus, Art, and Music) for kindergarten through 6th grade. Also on September 3, the Chancel Choir’s rehearsal time begins at 7:00 PM and the choir begins rehearsing the Christmas Cantata. Sunday, September 7, 4:00-5:00 PM, Young Professionals Room, Handbell Choir rehearsals begin Saturday, September 13, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Choir Room, rehearsal of Chancel Choir Christmas Cantata, with a break for lunch. Thursdays at 4:00 pm
Atwoods Bakery
The Widow Support Group meets Thursdays at 4:00 pm at Atwoods Bakery. This is a group of 8-10 women who get together regularly for fellowship and support. Newcomers, including men, are welcome to join the group.
