FUMCA Nursery
Located in the Preschool wing of the church,
Our nursery at First UMC of Alexandria is a warm,
welcoming,and nurturing environment where
your infants and toddlers can be lovingly cared
for during all worship services and church events.
Available Sundays during all programming (8:30 AM –12 PM)
and Wednesdays following The Gathering meal (6—7 PM)
What to Expect in Our Nursery:
• Safe Sanctuary Compliance: Our nursery fully complies with The United Methodist Church's Safe Sanctuary guidelines, including background-checked and trained caregivers, secure check-in/check-out procedures, and a safe, clean environment.
• Quality Care: Our experienced nursery staff and volunteers provide attentive supervision, loving care, and age-appropriate activities focused on comfort and security.
• Feeding & Diapering: We gladly accommodate your child's feeding schedule and changes. Parents are encouraged to provide instructions for feeding and care.
• Clean & Comfortable Space: Our nursery is regularly sanitized and maintained with child-friendly furnishings and toys that promote a calm and enjoyable experience.
• Parent Communication: We prioritize clear communication with parents and guardians through secure check-in systems and will reach out if your child needs anything during their time in the nursery.
