Youth Ministries

 The Youth Ministries at First United Methodist Church focus on building a strong foundation for youth (7th - 12th grade) to join in fellowship and grow in Christian love and faith. Weekly youth activities are scheduled on Sunday and Wednesday nights.

UMYF - United Methodist Youth Fellowship - is held every Sunday night at 5:00 in the Johnson Center. We begin the evening with a snack supper followed by various activities and discussions. Activities may include JUMP Worship (a youth-led worship service held once a month), mission days, off-site fun nights, game nights and more.

Mission Days are held on Sunday afternoons or weekdays during the summer. This is an opportunity for youth to give back to the community by doing small local mission projects. These may include working at the Methodist cemetery, giving out food or bottles of water, working at the homes of church members, completing tasks at the church or working on other projects.

All youth are welcome to attend youth activities and events. Stop by to enjoy fun and fellowship with your peers!
