Souper Care

UMW “SOUPER” CARE NEW GUIDELINES & FOOD ITEMS
We have frozen soups and casseroles in the kitchen walk-in.  We also have lots of single meals that have been prepared with leftovers from the Wednesday night dinners.  Please help us minister to anyone in our community who might need a hot meal following a hospital stay, surgery, illness or any other time of need.   This includes your friends and neighbors, not just FUMCA members.  We need delivery help from all of our members, not just the ladies in UMW.

Please record your delivery on the “check-out” clipboard in the kitchen. Anyone is encouraged to provide soups and casseroles for this mission.  You do not need to make anything homemade and can purchase food from many sources such as The Main Dish, Atwoods, Schlotzsky’s, Sams Club, etc.

If you want to make home cooked items, get soup containers in Katie’s office.  Ideal casserole containers can be purchased at the Dollar Tree for 3 for $1.00.  Label your food items with contents, date and any special instructions.  It’s best that the food not be too spicy.

Thanks to all of you who help this ministry show our love and caring for our community!   Questions?  Call Barbara Wright at 787-2009 or 730-9056.
