Reign

In 2011, a group of committed youth and adults came together to reignite the flame of contemporary worship at FUMCA. This group, Reign has revolved and evolved into a cohesive group that praises and leads worship through music and art. The revolving door of singers, instrumentalists and worshipers is what keeps Reign fresh and growing. You can be part of that growth, by raising your voice and sharing your talent. Practice is on Wednesdays from 7-8 pm in the Well (also referred to as the Media Center at FUMCA). You don’t have to be Mandisa, Chris Tomlin or the Newsboys, you just have to have the desire to praise our Lord through song…and the most important part, Show Up! All are welcome, there is a place for YOU! View photos of D. C. Sills and Reign (the band that plays at The Contemporary service) performing at Spirits on our Facebook page!

Joymakers

The Joymakers is a group of adults who gather weekly to sing at different nursing homes in the area each Wednesday morning at 10:00. There is no rehearsal or prerequisite for joining – just a love for music and a desire to share that love with others. Their repertoire is pulled from the Cokesbury Hymnal as well as “ditties,” songs such as Take Me Out to the Ballgame, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, etc. The first Wednesday of each month, they visit Naomi Heights; the second Wednesday, Regency House; the third Wednesday, Matthews Memorial; the fourth Wednesday, Emeritus (formerly Kingsley Place); and the fifth Wednesday, Marigold House. Please contact the church office for additional information.
